Benefits of Alerces Spanish Preschool & Kindergarten
Reggio Emilia Approach
Child-led learning with teachers to guide, parents to support and environments to inspire. Children thrive and shine through the endless expressions of learning here.
Bilingual
A spanish speaking environment with bilingual teachers where children naturally absorb Spanish through daily interaction and activities similar to the natural language acquisition of an infant.
Forest School
Explore learning in nature’s classroom. It’s a new adventure everyday where children spark curiosity, learn cooperation and nurture a love and respect for the world around them.
Yoga
Mindful movement, spatial awareness, deep breathing and kindness are the values guiding our yoga sessions. Games, crafts, poses and discussions give children the tools to navigate their emotions.
Small Class Sizes
Small groups of 10 or less allow each class to work collaboratively, build social skills and friendships and preserve the nurturing relationship between each student and the teacher.
Field Trips
We go on exciting outings to open up the world around us, giving children the opportunity to participate in community and culture with guided activities, skill-building and active listening skills.
